Half an hour later, I was riding a horse, which slowly walked, loudly hitting hooves on the water surface of the floodplain. The terrain looked quite wild and deserted.
Mentally, I repeated the lines from the pamphlet “Horse Safari along Delta Okavango”: “The rider must be able to ride a trot” (I can), “feel confident at any step” (without problems) and “confidently galloping”.
Galloping confidently? Some doubts arose…
