Closed old and unprofitable boiler houses, as expected, allow the budget of the Ivanovo region to save about 10 million rubles annually. In addition, employees of the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Ivanovo Region say that according to the monitoring they conducted, there is currently a need to switch to individual heating 500 apartment buildings. The total number of apartments located in these buildings is 10 thousand. The need to transition to an individual heating system was announced by Sergey Taglanov, an acting head of the housing and communal services department of the Ivanovo region.
The official in particular said that the closing of unprofitable old boiler houses continues in the region, in the place of which modern gas boiler houses appear, and residents of apartment buildings in the Ivanovo region today are proposed to install individual heating devices. The purchase of gas boilers for new boiler houses is credited by owners of residential premises, which are granted a preferential loan.
As a result of this, only last 2013, all residential premises located in the villages of the Teikovsky, Palekh and Shuisky district switched to individual heating. This method, according to Sergei Taglanov, will allow consumers to reduce their heating costs, as well as hot water supply by at least a third. In turn, the regional budget will save on at least 10 million rubles annually.
