However, very often, in the first pairs, those who independently try to produce this building material have some difficulties in the production process. It will be advisable to consider the main defects that may occur in the case of independent brick production.
Difficulties can occur at various stages of production.
Formation stage.
It often happens that the cheese at the molding stage breaks without effort and, in general, is characterized by low strength of the material. This can be nothing more than the fermentation of the raw materials (clay), or the presence of a large number of inclusions in the clay used for the production of brick.
It happens that it happens that when performing work on the performance of the molding, the material sticks to forms, to the hands, or even spreads. This occurs if at the stage of preparing the mixture for the manufacture of brick, excessive amount of water was used, as a result of which the clay dough turned out to be oversaturated with moisture. In this case, it is worth reducing the percentage of saturation of the moisture of the mixture. This can be done by inclusion in a mixture of dry additives, ensuring a decrease in the degree of moisture of the basis.
Stage of dry drying.
At this stage, it happens that a large amount of material has cracks and is destroyed. This may be due to the fact that the shiht was incorrectly selected in the production process, such a state of affairs is also possible with waterlogging of bricks at the drying stage, which usually occurs when the requirements regarding the surrounding temperature and weather are not observed under which the cheesecake was dried.
It often happens that the drying of brick in height occurs unevenly. This can happen for two reasons – a very dense laying of the cheesecake for drying, or due to a large amount of brick when masonry in height.
It is very important to consider all factors that can lead to problems at the drying stage. Because this will entail the emergence of new more serious defects in the subsequent stages of independent production of construction brick.
Defects at the stage of brick firing.
It is not enough to build a stove for firing cheesecakes, you still need to correctly produce a brick garden in a stove. An incorrectly arranged cage can lead to the fact that the cheese will be burned uneven. It happens that some rows of cages are revived unevenly. You can fight these only by proper laying of the burned material in the stove.
It is very important when performing firing is to maintain the correct temperature regime when performing the procedure. Sudden temperature changes (climbs or sharp downs) can lead to the fact that in the end the product after this stage is obtained with cracks and surges.
Often after the completion of all work, the received brick when exposed to moisture on it changes its size and shape, it absorbs moisture like a sponge. This kind of marriage occurs in the case of white inclusions, which are called “arches”. The cause of such properties of the finished product is the wrong choice of clay even at the first stage of production.
It can be seen that the process of brick production is both a simple and complex process. It is simple because it can easily be organized at home – at its own compound. It is difficult because there are many nuances that must be taken into account at all stages of production, otherwise the product obtained at the exit will not have the qualities inherent in real brick, which can be safely used in construction.
