Then outline the contours of the elements. For this, a diluted with turpentine is used in a dark color, which was scored in a container with a tightly fixed nozzle. For the nozzle, you can use a thick needle from a syringe, a ball of balls or a tube with an inner diameter of about a millimeter. After applying the contours, they are allowed to dry, after which they begin to paint the internal parts.

If it is supposed to be stained with one color of several elements, the corresponding areas are cut out of the workpiece, the mask is applied to the glass, the cut areas are fixed and stained with a spray gun. In this method, it is important to accurately copy the main pattern and the thickness of the circuit. You can use two mixtures as paint. The first is done as follows: Furniture transparent nitrolak NC-222 is diluted with diluent No. 646 or 648 and added artistic oil paint to it. The paint should be 3-10% of the mass of varnish. The second mixture uses light glue BF-2, which is diluted with acetone in the proportion of 1: 1, and alcohol-shaped paint.
This method requires great caution. After painting areas in one color, you need to let them completely dry and only after that take up the following colors.
In another method, paints for fabric and gelatin are used. For paint, you need to dilute 4-6 grams of gelatin in 200 grams of warm water, while there should be no lumps in the solution. In a separate container, paint is bred, also without lumps and sediment. In the third container, a small amount of gelatin and divorced paint are mixed, which is recommended to pass through several layers of gauze. The resulting solution must be thoroughly mixed so that the color becomes homogeneous, after which you need to evenly and carefully apply a thin layer to the site. It is not necessary to wait for the drying of individual sections.
When making a stained glass window with your own hands, you need to work in gloves and apron and periodically ventilate the room.
