The use of new technologies also affected modern construction. Aerated concrete won the first position in popularity. It is inferior only to brick. But the technical characteristics of this material are such that its use in the construction of buildings will save significant means. Aerated concrete is a unique building material, the production of which includes several stages. At first, a special mixture is created – a sludge that includes cement, sand, chopped lime and gypsum stone, as well as aluminum powder. The resulting composition is mixed with water, and the resulting suspension is placed in heat. The mass increases in volume, becomes porous and turns into aerated concrete. It is cut into blocks and sent to autoclaves, where they undergo hardening under the influence of a temperature of 200 degrees and a pressure of about 12 atmospheres. As a result, an artificial stone is obtained, which is not inferior to brick in strength, but it is easily cut and processed. The material has low thermal conductivity, light, does not support combustion and does not absorb moisture. In addition, it is environmentally friendly. However, in the production of aerated concrete, problems arise related to pumping the suspension from which this building material is made. Typically, in the production of this material, primary sludge is used. But there is a source material formed from the collapse of foam concrete. This is a reverse sludge. In composition, it is similar to the primary, but the pulp obtained from it has a higher viscosity. For pumping mixtures, slot pumps Volgograd are used. These centrifugal devices of the horizontal type are pumped by the pulp only with a certain concentration of solids. Only they are able to create a speed that does not allow solid particles to settle and fade the pipeline. When using the reverse sludge, the concentration of the component of the mass increases, the pulp becomes more viscous and the pumps cannot cope with the load. These difficulties did not allow in large volume to use the reverse sludge. The Enterprise “Velet” improved the used sludge pumps. They became stronger in the running part. The developers improved a special work wheel, added seals. The equipment has become more reliable. The technical characteristics of the pump were improved, the geometric parameters of the case were changed, modern developments were used, and, as a result, new generation slide pumps can easily cope with the pumping of the pulp, which previously created problems. The only condition for the normal operation of such equipment is a less concentration of pulp. The running part of modern equipment is made of IMF alloy, the wear resistance of which is much higher than that of previously used IChs or Chx28. A new model sludge pumps easily cope with sand-gravel and gold-lump abrasive hydrosons and pulps. The Enterprise “Taken” makes sluts in a submersible and external version. Technically, improvements are based on an increase in the strength of the running part, since it is it that is primarily subjected to wear. As a result of the improvements, the pumps not only became more wear -resistant, but also began to consume less electricity, which made it possible to make the production of this type of blocks less costly. The use of new, technically more perfect equipment allows you to make aerated concrete production more profitable, and, consequently, beneficial for serious investments.
