You do not need to install complex playgrounds and designs in your garden in order to create a place to play your child. It may be necessary to fix the trees and clean a small site for installing some gaming zones, but in general, this is not always necessary to spend large amounts of money. In fact, there are simple solutions to turn the entire fence into a chalking board for drawing or using old pots and pans for a musical production. Read this article to find out more ideas on how to turn a place in your garden for a children’s game with a minimum of investment.
1. Improvised kitchen
Children love to play the “house”, but this does not mean that you need to buy doll furniture or mini-house for your child. We offer to create our children’s cuisine from old improvised means, like an unnecessary shell and old boxes. Make sure that all objects are safe for the child. And the second component of your mini-kitchen can be dirt. From it you can sculpt fictional pies, cakes and generally play children’s cuisine.
2. Thematic park
Depending on what grows in your garden, you can organize a thematic site for the game. You do not need to install something massive. Find a suitable site and show the child how to use it in your game. For example, you can give a child a set of toys with dinosaurs and show him how one or another section of your garden resembles thickets of Jurassic park. The rest will finish his fantasy.
3. Mud pit
Use a small section of your lawn as a site for a scoop. You can either tear off this section by pulling out and sifting the ground, or order sand and scatter it in a certain zone of your garden. Anything can serve as a limiter of space, even simple pegs. But if you want something better, then the construction of a real fence will not take much time and effort.
4. Musical garden
Create something radically unusual for your child, for example, a funny musical instrument from pots and cups. Just drive pegs into the ground and fix the dishes directly on them, or on the rope between them. Keep in mind that such a toy will create a lot of noise, but it will help your child either throw out aggression or discover something creative.
5. Logs for balance
You remember how in physical education lessons you were forced to walk around the beams to form your coordination? You can install an analogue of this design in your garden so that the child practices balance skills. Do not make the bar very high. It will be enough for kids to even be a height of brick – on an analogue with a sidewalk border, on which you can walk, holding your balance. But ideally, it is better to make a full -fledged bar, having shut up several beams together.
6. Fence-Doska
Turning a whole fence into a chalk board is not a problem. There is a special paint for this.
7. Complex structures
If you have time and opportunities, you can create more complex designs for the game of your child. The most common option is a tree house. Sometimes parents make huts to children from natural materials, decorating it then backlight, pillows and other comfortable decor. Water structures – from the pond to the pool – can be dangerous for kids, but adult children will appreciate these solutions.
Generally…
Remember that the games in the fresh air are very useful for the child. If you do not have enough funds to provide a country yard with expensive children’s toys, create the simplest solutions, like a sandbox. Do not be afraid to be too simple – the child has imagination, just give him a reason to develop it. And yet … there are many cases when the designs made by hand are much more useful and environmentally friendly than any purchased product.
