Just recently, universal access to electricity and kitchens began to turn into modern rooms modernized by technologies. We have not kneaded the dough for a long time manually, but use mixers and bleeders, wood stoves today are only in villages and villages. And even gas stoves are practically replaced by electric. We are already silent about the fact that there was a technique that makes our cooking for two minutes, for example, toasters and waffles. Another revolution for kitchen appliances is emerging today. It became possible thanks to the appearance of Wi-Fi wireless communication and its abundant penetration into our homes.
Using a Wi-Fi network, it is now possible to control kitchen appliances through a tablet or smartphone device. And also, connecting on the Internet gives a lot of opportunities for the development of ordinary kitchen objects.
Today we will talk about three kitchen items, which a number of manufacturers have already ennobled the Wi-Fi function, modernized with sensory technologies and connected to the Internet.
1. Chop -Syc – cutting board with a touch screen
Chop-Syc is an interactive cutting board. It sounds a little not practical – cut on the touch screen, but let’s more about how it works. The device really works like a regular cutting board. While you cut vegetables, a wood texture is depicted by default (you can change the picture). But you can instantly turn the cutting board into a sensor tablet, connect it to the Internet and study recipes on it. Interactive table book using special software can calculate the number of necessary products. It is enough for you to indicate what you are preparing and how many people. By the way, the surface of the board also works as kitchen weights.
The developers say that the screen cutting board can be a practical solution for optimizing the cuisine space. Although Chop-Syc has not yet been launched on the market, the developers have big plans for this.
2. Ikettle – a kettle controlled by a smartphone
We consider the development of such a kettle a completely logical solution. Most people, in principle, have long thought about being able to remotely control the kettle.
The device is connected to the Internet through the home network Wi-Fi. You can turn it on remotely or it can “turn it on” you by sending a signal to your mobile device. You can hold the temperature in the kettle and even configure the exact temperature parameters.
It is expected that in November Ikettle will go on sale.
3. Oven Lg Lightwave and the oven Samsung Zipel
Both ovens are available today only in Korea. They allow you to use a smartphone as a remote control. Using a phone (only on android) you can remotely configure the time and cooking temperature. The oven in itself LG Lightwave offers several ways to cook, including halogen lamps, microwave oven, grill and convection. LG plans to sell an oven outside Korea, but it is not yet determined when and at what price.
Samsung Zipel is similar in terms of indicators. She also has programmed modes for 160 dishes. Samsung Zipel performs some functions using voice commands. She will even read the recipe for some dishes with step -by -step instructions. But as well as the model of the oven LG, the Samsung oven is not available outside Korea.
