Today, the construction of wooden houses has ceased to be purely individual, of course, many order the project, purchase building materials and carry out the entire cycle of erection of a wooden structure on the spot. However, there is another way – buying a ready -made kit, which must simply be assembled on a pre -stained foundation. The complexity of construction in this case is reduced significantly, its speed increases, the number of unforeseen moments is reduced.
Due to some circumstances, for many this option is the only acceptable, the demand for wooden structures is large in those areas where the harvesting of wood is not carried out. Factory manufacturing of structures of this type allows you to reduce transportation costs, since only the volume of the material that will go for construction and reduce the cost of filling the foundation and significantly facilitate its installation is transported. Another advantage of using structures of this type is the presence of preliminary processing by substances that reduce the ability to ignition, repel insects and have an antifungal effect.
Preparation for the assembly
Currently, wooden prefabricated structures are used both for the construction of residential buildings and outbuildings, as well as some production facilities, for example, warehouses and hangars.
Before proceeding with the installation, the designs are checked for completeness and integrity, as well as on the subject of compliance with size and shape by what are indicated in the project. The presence of fasteners is also controlled: it includes corners, bolts, flat washers and other products used to fix the elements.
The most profitable and convenient is the assembly of the structure on the ground, followed by installation on a pre -intended place. The complexity is minimal, and the lifting equipment is required only to install the finished block on the foundation. Also, in some cases, fragmented assembly is used, when individual blocks are assembled on the ground from which the structure is formed.
Assembly of a wooden structure
In order to assemble, it is necessary to use a special tool and fasteners. A feature of the latter is that it should provide the most strong connection and at the same time not to damage the tree, which, as you know, is a sufficiently soft material. In order to avoid damage, in the assembly of wooden structures the washer is widely used, it helps to reduce pressure on the surface without damage to the strength. When connecting using bolts or studs, each connection accounts for at least two flat goals: one is placed from the side of the bolt head, the second – where the nut is where the nut. For the manufacture of flat goals, carbon steel is used, for the most part for additional protection it is processed by zinc, thus, the connection, where it is used, does not threaten corrosion. All threaded connections after the initial fixation are pushing, ensuring their reliability and durability.
The collected structures using lifting equipment are installed in place, before that they may need cleaning from ice and snow if installation is carried out in the winter. Slings from structures are removed only after their reliable fixation based on. As a rule, installation occurs very quickly, however, with mass construction, simultaneous installation of several structures is possible at once, then this may take a little more time.
