Instead of Soviet “Avosek” and household bags for more than two decades, the main type of packaging of goods for all citizens of the former USSR have become polyethylene packages.
Demand for them does not fall, since marketers have successfully mastered the optimal scheme in practice: in supermarkets when buying goods, you are put in plastic bags with the seller’s logo. Convenient to the buyer and at the same time the outlet is advertised. Therefore, the production and wholesale in large retail chains of polyethylene packages is a promising and reliable entrepreneurial idea.
Stages of activity
Any production activities require serious investments for its organization.
At the very beginning, you need to decide on the intended sales of products. Modern equipment even in one copy allows you to produce twenty thousand packages per shift or a million pieces per month. Having decided where you will sell them, select a place for production. For this, a room outside the city with a height of seven to ten meters is suitable, with an area of one hundred to three hundred square meters with the ability to build good ventilation and fire system.
Conclude a premises lease agreement and receive permits in various instances for the start of work.
A set of equipment for the production of polyethylene packages includes:
an extruder that turns low or high pressure polyethylene granules into a polyethylene film;
cutting – soldering machine for cutting packages of a set size;
press for making bag handles;
Flexographic machine for applying a logo or other image to a package. Packages with the logo are in greatest demand, so the machine cannot be dispensed with;
other auxiliary equipment.
Such an automatic production line will cost five million rubles. The best option would be its acquisition on leasing terms. After installation and testing, you can start production.
Economic effect
Polymer granules are cheaper to buy at factories manufacturers in Korea, Russia or in the former Soviet republics. The ton of granules will cost twenty thousand rubles, but from it you can make up to one hundred thousand packages. A kilogram of dyes for applying logos costs up to one thousand rubles. Up to twenty kilograms of dyes will go to the manufacture of one hundred thousand packages.
For a month we sell one million packages in the amount of a million rubles (without VAT).
The costs will amount to eight hundred and thirty thousand rubles, including:
ten tons of granules for two hundred thousand rubles;
two hundred kilograms of dyes for two hundred thousand rubles;
staff salaries – two hundred thousand rubles;
electricity, transport and other expenses – one hundred thousand rubles;
Taxes, social insurance – fifty thousand rubles.
repayment of leasing payments for equipment – eighty thousand rubles.
The preliminary calculation allows us to hope to make a profit and inspires confidence in the successful implementation of this project.
