We live in a restless world, but sleep is still extremely important for our health. For most people, the dream is disturbed due to the downed mode of the day or excessive use of electronics, but it happens that extraneous sounds interfere with sleeping. Moreover, even if you are used to falling asleep with the sound of a traffic stream or a rattle of dog claws on the floor of the neighbors from above, this can violate the overall quality of your sleep.
Extra sounds are removed using a simple sound insulation system. If noise comes due to the window, energy-efficient windows are installed. If the problem is in a noisy neighbor, acoustic panels are mounted on walls or ceiling. In some cases, instead of panels, insulation materials are used.
The sound is controlled in different ways. There are sound -absorbing panels, there are sound repulsive panels, panels that muffle the sound. In addition to the sound insulation of the main surfaces through which, as you think, noise pass, you must take care of the insulation of sockets, doors, windows and other openings.
For walls, as a rule, acoustic panels are used that absorb the sound. Isolation with the same function, for example, fiberglass insulation, mineral wool, etc. p. If you are trying to control sounds from above (sounds of steps, TV, phone, etc. p.), then the muffle sounds isolation are used.
Dispersing sounds isolation is a good additional help. With the help of such panels, all sound waves that will try to “get” through the surface will be reflected and dissipated along the panel upward.
During the construction of new houses, ask developers to use the most suitable insulation for your housing, which will isolate your home from noise from the street. This is especially true if your building is near roads or if your neighbors are families with children.
Doors are the structure through which sounds most often penetrate. If the interior door is hollow or made without isolation inside (as well as a large gap between the door and the floor), then you will hear everything that other family members do. Therefore, buying cheap doors is to spoil the acoustics of the entire apartment. A similar situation concerns the entrance doors. There are doors with good sound insulation, but some doors miss the sounds not at all because of the door leaf, but because of the lack of seals and gaskets (or because of bad seals and gaskets). Moreover, noise insulation and upholstery of doors is possible even for a number of doors, which were not initially supposed, like acoustic.
Most modern windows protect quite well from sounds from the street. If you still hear them, try to determine what is the reason: walls or window. Depending on this, choose a solution to the problem: replacing the window or installing acoustic panels.
Sometimes it is necessary to sound asceosplanted from outsiders, for example, if you want to arrange parties after midnight and do not want to communicate with dissatisfied neighbors and the police. For studios and gym halls in apartments, soundproofing is also recommended.
