A group of farmers have found a fun way to stay cool – they’ve made a pool out of hay bales.
Jack Smith and his friends spent four days building their own pool, using hay bales and hay wrapping paper to create the container, which they then lined with a large tarp. It took another two days to fill it with water.
Europe is sweltering in record heat, and the UK is no exception. Many countries are dealing with wildfires and are recommending that their citizens, especially children and the elderly, stay indoors and avoid venturing out in the heat.
The friends plan to keep the pool as long as possible and have opened it up to anyone who wants to use it.
