It is no secret that all classes in schools are equipped according to the developed standards that are aimed at ensuring that the schoolboy can receive the necessary knowledge and skills as comfortable as possible for himself. An important role in the educational process is given to school furniture. This is especially true on the eve of the Day of Knowledge – the first of September. In the summer, most schools are trying to repair classes, corridors, halls and dining rooms. By the beginning of the school year, schools buy new furniture for their students. What are they guided by the purchase?
In the USSR, there were standards that determined the appearance, materials, dimensions of school furniture. It is well known that school desks were designs from combined chairs and tables. This ensured their fixed position relative to each other, a certain height of both chairs and tables. The material has always served a tree. Of course, such furniture was imperfect, since the children grow differently, and the standard parameters of the desk were far from suitable for everyone. Therefore, the standards have gradually changed, and now all the manufactured furniture must comply with the GOSTs.

If all the criteria are observed, then the furniture is of high quality.
